fargo at least had some humor, simple plan has none. theres also multiple characters here “in on it” as opposed to fargo so theres not really anyone to root for.

for a long time after i saw simple plan in the theatres i thought it was a coen bros movie. i wonder how much theyre an influence here considering their working relationship.

i know its not going to be a “blockbuster” like most of these...but i dont see many that are going to be better movies.

i could not agree more. music was everything to me til about 35...then one day i just stopped downloading new stuff and going to shows. it takes a lot for me to check out a new band. i had read somewhere that once you hit your early 30s you stop listening to new stuff and are pretty set in your ways.
