Maybe it was fun in the 70's, but almost every screening I've been to turns into an annoying cacophonous shouting match. And yeah, it's really fun if you appreciate a certain type of camp. Any scene Tim Curry's in, at least.

I finally read up on this whole fiasco that everybody was posting angrily about on facebook a month ago, and I'm mostly just baffled as to why anybody gives a shit.

It's always funny to me what people consider unfair in these games. The marble puzzle took me a while for sure, but I didn't need to cheat and I don't remember it being particularly brutal. Usually the scenarios where I wuss out and consult a guide are pixel-hunts.

My favorite as well. Riven was easily the one that I became the most obsessed with solving, even poring over notes during breaks at school. It's got the best environment-integrated puzzles too, the number system being a great example.

I'm a big fan of the first three Myst games, but it's never been the kind of game that's in any way replayable. Even over a decade after completing Myst III I probably remember too many of the solutions for it to be anything more than a point & click walking sim. Most podcasts I've tried have left me cold, with CBB being the one MASSIVE exception. I seriously cannot listen to it on public transportation without looking like a lunatic. It's a shame the show is ending, but I'd be much sadder if the podcast went away.
