As much as I'd like to distance myself from the "political correctness gone mad!" crowd, I feel like all the hand-wringing over Pepe Le Pew is kind of stupid, too. How many people are thinking, "hey, I should totally emulate this sexist cartoon skunk!"

The primary impetus behind scientific progress in the Star Wars universe is toyeticism. If you were a real Star Wars fan, you would know this.

The trailer for this looked bad, but I think the trailer is a terrible way to judge comedies in particular, since they usually stitch together all the broadest jokes and pratfalls. That's why I thought the freak-out over the new Ghostbusters trailer was such bullshit, it really wasn't much worse than any other comedy

They would be worse if they had any actual power, which they don't. So stories about their protests are just fodder for shitty people in the latter group to tell themselves they're not bad people because hey, at least they're not as bad as the WBC. This stupid shit may as well be posted on hellogiggles.com

Dunkin' DEEZ NUTZ

Yeah, but I think Andre is the same, albeit to a lesser degree (I liked him a lot in Don't Trust the B***). The cuckoldry thing does make it a bit more interesting, and I hadn't realized Jones had bought into all the "cuck" stuff. Then again, doesn't explain the pee-pee!

I put Eric Andre in the same category as Sacha Baron Cohen in that their shows can be great just because of the fucked up depths they're willing to go to for a stunt, but out of context they're just kind of annoying. What are your thoughts on fruit?

I liked Frances Ha fine and it had some humor, but saying that it's a straightforward comedy or one of the funniest movies since 2000 smacks of blind Baumbach fandom. I agree with the person in the article that Mistress America is much funnier, and much more classifiable as a "comedy". Of course, my bias is that I

Not only is it coherent, it's as relevant to the article as the parent post!

I my have lost some hearing ability at the Dinosaur Jr show last night, but it really seemed like there were no notes coming out during the guitar solo.

At my school, principal sightings were so rare that he attained a sort of deity status, and people would talked in awed whispers when he deigned to make an appearance at the school. The vice principal was the one we saw day to day, and whose office you would end up in for flicking boogers or peeing in your desk or

I'M NINE AND A HALF YEARS OLD AND THIS IS RUINING MY CHILDHOOD

Speaking of, his suicide note from the last episode might be the hardest I've ever laughed at the show. I think I lost it around the "Mayor McCheese" part.

The A.V. Club

Listening to this turned me into a men's rights activist.

Technically, all of Ramsay's base are belong to Jon.

I mean, Gang of Four has always been called dance-punk frequently and almost all of these bands were regularly accused of ripping them off, from what I remember.
