I took it as he was more about the content than the grammar/punctuation. It was a rather long piece and he was just getting the info out there. (My take, anyway).

I am getting my writing career fired up—right now writing for local pieces ($50-$150 per piece.) Please advise me as to what the best paths may be to garner the higher paying assignments. I believe I have the chops, but would love a bit of guidance along the way.
