I always thought the Bangle-hate was overdone. Great article; it's amazing how time can change how we view design. Regarding the original Z4 roadster, how much was Bangle involved in the design? Was Warming primarily responsible? Love my Sepang Bronze Z4 M Coupe and get compliments often. The shape hasn't aged,

VW Corrado, both models but SLC (VR6) was more overpriced. ~97k units sold worldwide but only ~18k sold in North America. The SLC ('92-'94) usually sold for between $23k-27k depending on options, at a time when cars like Eclipse GSX, Probe GT, Talon TSi and Prelude Si could be had for usually around $2k-10k cheaper.

I don't think the S52 M Roadster's will ever appreciate too much, beyond the few very low mile, pristine examples. There were too many made and the roadster doesn't have the following that the coupe does.
