Us was pretty good until they tried to explain everything.  With Nope, Peele learned his lesson and didn’t bother, and I loved it all the more for it.  It scared me more than Get Out, even if the latter is the better film.

As a Torontonian, the fact that they changed Arthur’s death to be in Chicago hurts me.

You give him more terrible people to go up against.

The bad guys are, believe it or not, even worse.

And I wouldn’t have gotten away with it, regardless of you meddling kids.

I know I’m a year late, but I’m pretty sure the three rings are a reference to a relatively obscure edition of The Handmaid’s Tale with a woman on the cover with three rings through her lips.  I know this because that’s the edition I read.

I finally got around to reading it and holy shit is this a great book. Seems to be harder to find nowadays, but I found a copy in the back of my LCBS.

Not to be that guy, but Kim definitely does say, verbatim, “I don’t trust you” in the final scene.

I hope JJ Abrams directs the next one and makes Marta Harlan’s secret granddaughter.

I like that this show has been Green Lantern/Green Arrow the whole time and I never noticed.

The “Moment” Jon fell in love with Angela made me cry actual tears.  I never thought a Watchmen show would do that to me.

I think the point is that Rick is a giant hypocrite.  In last episode, he says that people who try to avoid death are not really alive, yet he built this whole Phoenix project that revives him everytime he dies.

The entirety of Adventure Time existed within this decade, but that finale left me bawling like I was still a child.

Yeah, it’s not like Taxi Driver inspired any real life acts of violence...

I like that Dora is the anti-Indiana Jones. Instead of stealing ancient cultural artifacts, Dora returns them.

The final few moments destroyed me. I think it’s the fact that I grew up reading these books and remember how depressing the last book was. The fact that they decided to give the characters happier endings gave me a feeling of long overdue closure that I did not expect. Seeing Lemony reunited with a new “Beatrice”,

Mr. Rogers wouldn’t have insulted people for mourning the death of someone they cared about and you know it. If he were alive today, he would have said nice things about Stan’s life and consider Bill’s conduct deplorable.

The last time Werner’s wife will hear husband’s voice is him yelling at her that he doesn’t want to see her.

But how could they have evidence that President Morty is Evil Morty? All Mortys look identical. Photos mean nothing.
