See, this is one of my biggest comic book pet peeves. The proper, Arabic pronunciation is "Rahs". That is the translation of "head". But because of that stupid, stupid scene in Batman Beyond, everyone thinks it's "Raysh" and complains when Nolan uses the correct pronunciation in his movies.

The Watchmen movie has its merits, even improving upon the book in a couple of ways. And it's important to note that neither Watchmen, 300 or The Owls of Gahoole (I assume) were lifeless, ugly, grey eyesores.

I understand what you mean, Tom, and I agree. Beyond that, I'm glad DC is trying to distinguish itself from Marvel, instead of trying to emulate their "jokey" tone because it was successful, like what they did with Green Lantern.

"A episode"? Nah, the community and Scott all agree this episode doesn't deserve more than a Beeeee-grade.

I'm so glad Scott Pilgrim made it this high, although I thought The Social Network would be higher

Green Arrow playing Batman v. Superman playing the Atom playing Iron Man.

I love how Harrison explains everything to Cisco before he killed him, and not to gloat in a "it doesn't matter if I tell you my plans, you'll be dead!" kinda way. To me, it felt like he genuinely knew Cisco was curious and wanted him to spend his last moments learning more about the world, out of respect for him.

I just realized that Saul actually breaks the non-disclosure agreement by telling Kim about it. I wonder if that's going to come back…

It could still very well be a down on his luck comedian who got swept up into a gang after his pregnant wife died somehow. Snyder didn't throw away Alan Moore's origin for the Joker, it's just that the "one bad day" now includes a helicopter and explosions.

"I'm saying it's all a mystery, Alfred. All we know for sure is that at some point in the past year, someone murdered Distal, the original Red Hood leader and took his place. Whether that happened months ago, weeks ago or days ago, we can't be sure. Meaning, for all I know, the man I've been facing was switched out

But it's left up in the air as to whether or not it was the Red Hood leader who became the Joker. He deliberately left it a possibility that the guy who fell into the vat was just an innocent fall-guy.

This show is really bad at science. The reason why fire doesn't burn in a vacuum is because oxygen is a reactant that is needed for combustion to happen. Acid melting Barry's suit isn't combustion, it only "burns" figuratively, and will continue to do so vacuum or no vacuum.

So Mike and Saulley are friends now, and they didn't even need Helen Mirren as a dragon to catalyze it. Once again, Vince Gilligan proves his superiority over Pixar.

Do career women in fiction always have the initials LL?
