According to the report, the airbag triggers didn’t cause the accident. It was the truck first going off the road, which resulted in a fire, and then the airbag triggers went off.

Not true. Drag increases exponentially as speed increases. If you don’t believe me set your instant MPG (or get a scangauge if you don’t have one built in), do a mile one speed, then increase it by 5 or so. I guarantee you that you will see a difference. For my cars, its about 1 mpg per 2 mph of increase at highway…
I’d still rather go 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and hear it than 2.5 and not.
LOL! And how much is it when Tesla is NOT paying?! You guys sure are making this seem like it's not a big deal.
So...he was comparing a 2 year old $70,000 car’s maintenance frequency to that of an 8 year old, $25,000 car with 3.3x as many miles? And the shocking result is that it’s lower?
The XKE convertible is most certainly one of the most beautiful cars ever made. The 2+2 is ugly.
Not to mention the surface was clearly very poor in grip.
Actually the RS500 “badge” comes from the 80's with the Ford Sierra RS500 wich was an homolgation special
You're either with us or against us Travis and you're clearly not with us...
Not sure if it’s mentioned in any of the videos (not in a place where I can watch them), but I’m curious what it takes to reload and what it’s turnaround time is. I saw the Martin Mars (the world’s largest firefighting seaplane) do two water drops in ten minutes at Oshkosh, because it can just touch down on a lake and…
They’re all awful.
And besides, if the repairs are $5000 CDN, you’re out, what $36.79 US?????
Go listen to the 3L-V10s or even the first era of the 2.4L-V8s which were revving to over 20K. Then go a little further back and listen to the 3.5L V12 Ferrari, its all about the noise.
They're still hoping to drum up a big Hoover/Dyson/Shop-Vac advertising war.
And hats off to you for the best comment I’ve read today. Have a star to keep that logic and enthusiasm going.
Hats off to these guys.
Turbo engines will make their peak torque at lower RPM. You still need high RPM to reach peak power. Since peak torque comes in at lower RPM, turbo motors do make more power at lower RPM, but that’s not what this discussion is about.
Fact: NA motors suffer from infinite turbo lag.
This is an excellent and informative way of explaining turbo lag.
