All things aside, the main thing that bums me out about electric cars is how similar they all are, you touched upon that in the article a few times as well. Without gasoline engines and real transmissions, there’s not a whole lot of character left in cars, so eventually it’ll just be a bunch of appliances that drive…

Fastest 4 door around Laguna Seca, period? Not just fastest electric 4 door? Interesting claim. That would mean it beat the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, which set a 7:18 around the Ring - significantly faster than the Taycan.

Why do you doubt that car exists? GM is not Tesla. 

They are shaped that way because of the material they used. If they were metal, they wouldn’t have all those “crazy shapes”.
