Gene definitely has a thing for dressing up as 90s female singers. Louise likes pun costumes. It is interesting to see how they have moved Tina away from being an active Trick-or-Treater and more interested in hanging out with her peers on Halloween. Weird how you can have growth in a cartoon even with the timeline…

Jocelyn is great. 

This show is great with continuity.

Anyone else spot the melted Kuchi Kopi in Tina’s room? That’s some serious continuity callback!

Some of the pig stuff actually felt unsettling now and then without compromising the humor, so props to that.

“Get out of there! Get out of my friend and go back to hell!!”

It’s absurd to me how good of a show this is.  It has no right to be as hilarious and adorable all at the same time.  

Yep, in S1, E1, when Betty is giving Veronica a tour of the school:

Vanessa Morgan as Toni does a lot with a little on this show. It would be nice to see what she does with more 

I did like the detail that Riverdale High was founded in 1941 which is the same year that the character of Archie was introduced. I don’t know if they’ve shown that before or it’s something that I just noticed.

Now, if they’d only write more than three lines per episode for her.

There was so much wonderful peak Riverdale ridiculousness in this episode.

Which students died at the last dance?

“It’s all in the nurturing” was probably my line of the night. Louise sounds so betrayed.

“Hey, you have other kids too, right?”

Not one of the better episodes imo but a hohum Bob’s Burgers is still better than most other shows. Nice to see Mike the Mailman again

I know we’ve seen Harley before on Bob’s Burgers, but man, she was great in this episode as one of those minor characters who is specific and realized.
