It was nice hanging out with Josie again, even if she sort of got stuck in the “voice of reason” role. I can’t quite call Betty a voice of reason when reason dictates she should have fled the scene ages ago. To anywhere. The murder school on that SYFY show would be a step up for her at this point.

“Doesn’t anything on this show take place during the day?” my husband grumbled at one point, and that was the first time he thought to notice that in what feels like 87 seasons of this show, so it must have felt especially dark to all.

I liked seeing angsty Tina. Best used sparingly though but it’s a nice breather from the usually sedated eldest Belcher kid.

I appreciate that the show doesn’t give in to the temptation to play Bob or Linda as jealous in their relationship. When Linda (or Bob) talks about the men on the website, a different show would have one call out the other for being attracted or thinking about someone else. I like that Bob and Linda can check out men

Heh, I thought it was a disapproving “Hm.” Either way, gold.

i love episodes where Bob is absolutely bound and determined not to be dragged into this stuff- and then more or less succeeds.

I hope he didn’t get attacked by the swinging dingoes.

“Hey Dad, what are you going to wear to Gene and Mom’s wedding?” “A suit, I guess.”

What got me about the “Call me when you’re a hardware engineer” line was Bob’s quick little supportive, “Hm.”

I’d like to know Teddy’s thoughts after visiting the all male review

“Big Old Kitties” is officially Bob’s Burgers best business name.

Bob asking (to no response) repeatedly why broken beds were so great all of a sudden was classic; and piles of laundry are pretty horrible, in general.

I assumed that the kids came along because Bob and Linda were so angry at each other that they didn’t want to have to be alone with each other on the date.

Oh wow, I laughed so much during this episode. The absurd imagination of the Belcher kids is a treasure.

“Wait, what did you think I meant?”

This also means Archie has dated/macked on three fourths of the original Pussycats. He’s a groupie!

What was with all the main teen couples deciding to have sex that very night? I get this was Moose and Kevin’s First Time but did the others really not have anything to do other than get it on?

What I loved is all the other parents going “are you safe? Lock the door!” and Penelope cuts straight to “get your bow and kill a motherfucker.”

I loved that Cheryl was briefly thrilled that she and Toni were having their first fight. That both was a very Cheryl moment, AND a good example of why Toni was annoyed with her.

Absolutely. Right when Bob tries to tell the grown-up Chick that he understands what it's like to work for a demanding father and Louise interrupts, I had to stop for a moment and just appreciate the set up. THERE ARE MANY LAYERS IN THIS CARTOON SHOW.
