Seriously?

Looks medium rare or medium. My last rib roast. My cellphone camera enhanced the colors a little but that was temped at medium and rested for a little bit before slicing.  Now I just want a deli slicer to make some roast beef sandwiches!

Agreed; the spuds and carrots do look lovely. And the puds too. (Were I attending this Sunday roast, I’d leave the beef for you.)

Yeah, that’s just what a rare roast looks like. I don’t like a roast THAT rare, but to each their own. I am sure it’s a very expensive roast, so I wouldn’t expect it to be medium.

Yeah, it looks perfectly done for the cut. That’s how I’d cook it. Any more, and I would consider it TOO well-done.

Around the holidays, local news here in ATL ran stories about how you shouldn’t wash your chicken/ poultry.  Oh lord the comments on those stories! Seems like certain ethnic backgrounds feel VERY strongly about this.

I have zero investment in this situation or the rich, boring people involved, but as a fan of a good Sunday roast, I’m compelled to say the beef looks just fine to me. The internet has taught me that most people: like their meat well-done like shoe leather, still wash their chicken, and put cheese or ranch dressing onto absolutely anything.

I honestly haven’t noticed a difference in my hydro bill. The entire house is all LED now, and has been for at least 5 years. I assume it’s because in that time, computers have demanded more energy, there are more devices in the house, and we’ve had a pandemic where we’re working from home 100%.
