I disagree. I wouldn’t want Jim to change his ways for any reason. In a sea of IGN reviews where an awful game is 6 or 7/10 we need someone like Jim who doesn’t sugar-coat awful games or shady AAA business practices.

I hope they expand on the Nemesis system and have more things to do. The gameplay was great but it got too repetitive too quickly, imo.
I really should play that game sometime. And Xenosaga series. And SMT: DDS. And my DS FF games. And FF Type-0 HD. And The Assassin’s Creed series. And Dragon Ages. And Mass Effects. And and and... god I will never catch up with my back log.

Now now, if you would judge the original screenshot in the same way, I’m sure you would find a lot of flaws there as well. Who knows how quickly those effects die down and how it looks in action?
The very same can be said about using Trump as the butt of every joke. The general public loves oversaturation.
NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
These are great, normally these “realistic” Pokemon try to emulate actual animals or dinosaurs and incorporate that in the design. I love how the actual Pokemon designs are used here.
Agreed. This is just one reason why I don’t even bother with “new” games anymore.
Hey, having an insane gaming backlog has its perks sometimes.
Sorry, I’m a Misty supporter.
Online multiplayer. Very few of my friends play games these days, and I have no interest in playing with strangers.
I don’t know what Mario game you’ve seen that looks anything like the one in Kotaku’s article about this one, but I haven’t seen any of their work that looks or plays specifically like this one. There are elements taken from the 2D Mario games, but they’re warped, all the art is redrawn in a slightly different style,…
Exactly, and therein lies the crux of the problem - companies weilding the DMCA as a hammer because they know the legal system costs so much to participate in, and things like fair use are so poorly defined and open to interpretation in a verdict, that they can essentially kill whatever they don’t like with 99.9%…
Good God, if they come out with Hyrule Warriors amiibo figurines, my wife will drive us into bankruptcy. She absolutely adores that game.
Hell, I’d love to have one of HW Impa, Ganondorf, and especially Zelda. And, um, Cia, for reasons.
What we’re seeing here is a move toward more individual creative expression in the industry.
Literally none of this is true. I am an old (Born in 81) and an animator. In the 80s and 90s characters were more detailed but moved like shit. They were also farmed out (Korea). Look at the intros to the 80s show (Thundercats, Transformers, Tiger Sharks, Silver Hawks) then watch an episode. No were near as similar.…
