It appears that he did it to surpass Butch in Cobblepot's hierarchy, but it wasn't completely clear that he had a motive other than to help Oswald. It seems they just set it up this way for Butch to try to "take down" Nygma so he can be Oswald's #2 again.

Haha! I don't think that's what "hippie" means.

That line got an eye roll out of me. I think they try too hard to make the characters stupid (specifically with Luke, but also Haley in instances). A lot of the time it just comes off as unbelievable to me.

Haha! I love the source reference. It sounds like an interesting class. I wish I had taken that instead of the Harry Potter based English class I chose.

Agreed. I saw them live over the summer and it was fantastic. The SNL performance was underwhelming to say the least. The concert was energetic and fun, and this was just dull.

You can call the MURDE nurses the most hilarious/ridiculous part of this season and campy, but is it camp if it's actually completely based on true events? https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…

That's the twist of the season: Evan Peters is actually playing Angela Basset's daughter.

That's the difference between a Murder Nurse and a Murde nurse.

What was the throwaway line explaining the hillbillies? I must have missed it.

Hornacek!! I was just thinking about how I was going to miss you since they dropped the Survivor reviews this year. Your "random thoughts" posts were delightful, to say the least. I'm gonna miss you there, buddy.

…until they lose those viewers, too.

In retrospect, yes, that should have been a good signal. But before seeing it I assumed the "villain" would either be the squad itself, or the people who assembled the squad in the first place (Depending on the point of view they settled on. It's a bit trickier when dealing with anti-heroes).

The excitement of that movie died with Cranston. ATJ was just awful. I was not planning to see a movie with him as the lead.

Yes sir. He kept it light enough to be enjoyable. The entire first half of the movie had me thinking "what the fuck am I watching" (i.e. the diaper shed), but then after the reveal, I was tense in my seat until the climax.

…Does that guy really have a tramp stamp? Please tell me he doesn't. But, also, please tell me he does.

I saw a few of the trailers, and I assumed Clooney was the main character. Hobie was easily the best part of the movie. "Would that it were…."

To be fair, that was the plan.

That's because I believe the people in the house are the "real" characters and the talking heads are the "actors".

That's how I expected it to go as well.

I could use a few more shows with ugly, disturbing children, though.
