I really, really miss Martian Manhunter (who brought an actual alien perspective, having spent most of his life living off Earth instead of growing up here). But Warner Brothers decided that people who like their IP were lame or sad or whatever, so we got to watch Superman watching people die.

Yes but at least we’re getting a Black Panther movie and a Luke Cage show. WB has yet to announce a Cyborg movie.

So the DCEU has introduced their first black superhero and he’s not getting his own movie. Meanwhile Marvel has already gotten a Black Panther movie into production and has already cast most of the characters and has already introduced three other black superheroes plus a Luke Cage Netflix show is airing in September.

Someone please explain to me why Cyborg is somehow a believable, justifiable member of the Justice League. DC has been shoving this down the collective fanbase’s throat for years now, and it’s still no more plausible than it was when it was first floated.

Even with the update, this post is still somewhat misleading because this is *not* a latest update to the Google Keyboard, as in “being able to get from Play Store.” I am currently using Nexus 6P and it is nowhere to be found.

It’s worse than that. It’s clickbait for GLAAD. They could have picked any other movie, but they picked Star Wars, because they knew they’d get headlines.

I think what GLADD meant to say was. “Look, we know you’ve already covered incest and robosexuality, so a LGBT character should not be that difficult to include.”

Seriously, who cares? We don't need token minorities just for the sake of checking a box.

just a curiosity: do people of the lgbt community really feel marginalized because there are no [OVERT] similar representations of them in a movie about a galaxy far, far away? also...does it matter if there are/are not gay/trans people in a movie? when did that become something that was necessary?
