A well built straight six (such as Nissan's own RB26) has no problem producing large horsepower figures.
Power does not have anything to do with the GTR having a V6 under the hood.

Precisely that. Some are rated in CC's others in cubic inches. It only applies to positive displacement blowers. Centrifugals (and turbo's since they use the same style of compressor) are rated differently since they or not linear in regards to airflow vs. RPM vs. pressure.

Stretching the definition of a truck to anything with a bed, I nominate the Envoy XUV. The cargo area was no bigger or wider than a regular Envoy so it couldnt carry plywood or 2x4's. I don't believe there were any suspension differences so payload was not increased. It couldn't tow much nor was it especially good…
