Cheer Up, Murray, you're nothing like Nigel Farah-ah-ah-age…

And she works for him!

What's really shameful is that implications of Brexit for Ireland was totally ignored during the referendum, except by the Irish themselves and by Labour.

Semi-conscious at best. I don't think this was really thought through; the political implications, the implementation, etc.

Mostly on the right to far-right, but also a minority on the left who'd completely failed to understand the situation (Their campaign was called 'Lexit', obscure political footnote fans!)

Brexit, pursued by a bear.

How about lighter fluid?

Well, Britain has had one political murder in the last week.

Yay for mediocrity! It's what the majority of us are willing to accept.

Like one day I'll probably have to deal with some terrible disease and the suffering that it entails, or more like the way I'll have to deal with my complete annihilation at some point in the not too distant future?

It sure can!

Yeah, I think we saw the same film. McClane is a cop, albeit off duty. He's still the archetypal "good guy with a gun".

Maybe not, but no doubt China does have an internal politics just as complex as that of the US, and certainly as important in relation to the rest of the world.

Did it suck like the first season or more like the second?

"The thing to remember when thinking about Americans is that we have an EXTREME diversity of thought, opinion, social class, and cultural experience."

Yeah, I understand that, plus there's the common language and the various historical connections between Britain and the US. Even so, the coverage of American politics is far out of proportion to any other country.
