I like to, look at the dyno graph when possible. People love to brag about peak power, but that is worthless to me. The area under the curve, or average power is more important. I would rather lose a few peak HP it is means I will have a broader curve.

I guess it depends on what you value. I think if I moved there in my 20's or earlier in life, I may have enjoy it during that stage of my life.

Yeah, never claimed it was the only place that had bad traffic.

I agree, there are sections I like and certain “vibes” of the city that you can’t find anywhere else that I enjoy. I just don’t like the city as a whole. I suppose I was a bit harsh, but not sure that would qualify me as being insular as “Hot Glass looks the same as Cold Glass” claimed I am. Apparently you have to

Care to elaborate?

I couldn’t agree more. The northern part of Michigan and west coast is beautiful and great people. I moved to south east Michigan for a dream engineering position, it’s over crowded terrible traffic, rude aggressive people, corrupt, filled with overpaid incompetent people. The locals will try to tell you it great but

I agree!

The average person walks at 3 mph. I am a mid pack marathon runner and I am running at just over 7 mph. If I do an all out sprint I can achieve speeds of 12 mph. So I supposes it is technically possible that a cyclist casually riding and a person sprinting at top speed does cross paths.

Now playing

For reference how fast 12 mph running is

Soooo the biker is going slow as hell and the person on foot is in really good  shape and running in this scenario. Just so you know 12 mph equates to 5 minute that’s really f-ing fast

There is just something about having a German car made in Germany and a Swedish car made in Sweden ect, ect. Its just a mental thing

This is true! But.......As a manufacturing engineer, I have set up several plants in Mexico while working for a German company. It’s takes a while it get the bugs worked out and instill the quality mindset into the local workers. The design and process is most important. Once sorted our it doesn’t matter where its

o man, how disappointing

They are not made in china, the Chinese own them big difference. Engineering is still being done by the same people just now the Chinese pay the bills

when you say;“They’re both moving at speeds achievable by people on foot”. You could not be more wrong.

Are you a cyclists ?

Walking pedestrians are in danger then.

This is also why lane splitting on motorcycles is for safety

You could say the exact same for Harley, and most riders know that but still love the brand

I own a 2012 f150 with the 3.5 eco and 3.73 rear end. Yes there is turbo lag but it is extremely minimal. The issue of “lag” is because of the terrible transmission tuning. I believe the 10 speed fixes that.
