The transmission was the issue not the engine
Maybe they were just referring to total money saved the ecoboost makes more sense but mpg numbers alone diesel will be much better
I don’t think its the Ford Guys thinking its a new technology. I think it the guys driving Chevy’s and Ram’s that think Ford’s turbo engines are new technology. Those guys claim its too complicated and high-tech to be reliable. The only thing really new is materials and machining processes; which have taken old ideas…
The BMW system in my wife’s car seams to work better than GM’s because BMW installs a storage evaporator .
Exactly peak hp doesn’t tell you much. You need torque numbers as well and you need to see the power curves generated from the dyno. Where the power (HP/TQ) is made and for how long makes all the difference in the world.
definitely does, I have a rather tall torso as well
The vehicle does not have to be huge to have adequate room for tall people. In fact sometimes large vehicles do not have room. I am 6'2" and I cannot fit comfortably in my sister in-law’s 2012 Tahoe. Yet I can fit in a mini cooper and vw golf with plenty of head room.
Haha that's how I read that
True , maybe because there wasn’t much competition and people still continued to buy the STI. That happened to the Tacoma
Why is there so much emphasis on 0-60 ? It does have importance to performance and is an easy metric to obtain and compare, I get that . This spec should not be the determining factor of performance though. You can set a car up specifically to perform well in that one measurement but it will usually suffer in other…
Exactly
The 5.3 should be compared to the 2.7 eco , and the 3.5 eco compared to the 6.2
You're probably are a Cadillac fan too
Like you said it has a different torque curve , peak numbers don’t tell the whole story. Some vehicles you can’t be a spec sheet racer , you gotta get behind the wheel/bars. My street triple had about 50 lb.ft , I thought that felt pretty torquey compared to average 600cc sport bike . I bet the 66lb.ft coming from…
This X 1000 . I dispise gang mentality, even worse I hate meat head/ tough guys. Majority of tough guys are overcompensating for other assets they lack , intelligence is usually high on that list .
Also, Making it faster will not make it a better car . It is about the total package , including dealership experience in this segment.
Exactly , Finally someone understands . Yes the Cadillac is an excellent car to drive and is fast, but as a whole car it still is not at the same level as the Germans. People that say the Cadillac is superior just because it drives better usually are not customers of luxury sports cars. This segment is about a lot…
