“If FCA wants to compete with Cadillac it really needs to come up with a whole new brand”

Why swap a Toyota V8 in to a BMW?

Step 1: Peugeot 508.

Stop remaking discontinued cars into crossovers.

First, they have to kill the 300. It’s had a good run. Let the old girl retire.

I’d honestly rather have what Chrysler is currently offering.

Daytona replica? Which one?

That makes a bunch of sense; for example, I’ve seen way more DeLoreans (and interest in them in the car community) in the last 2 years than I have in my entire life. And didn’t Matt Farah just get a Countach ?

A restomod De Tomaso Pantera GT5 would definitely be in my lottery garage.

A real Pantera can be picked up for $75-100k. so I doubt there is value in building a complete new one.Having said that the Pantera seems the perfect candidate for a Singer style restomod.

Factory Five’s GTM chassis is mid-engined and could be used for a Pantera or Miura replica. Their new project Romulan is a V12 powered front-engined coupe based on their Type 65 coupe.

Nice Tesla.

A company like Superformance or Factory Five needs to get on making Pantera kits. Modern Mustang drivetrain with power steering and good brakes would be just about perfect.

First of all, this is a wishlist.

A VX220 based on the Alfa Romeo 4C chassis

I don't either. I'm joining your club. Blahhhh

I have an ‘88 GT 5-speed with 21k miles on it. It should/would sell around this price, if not a bit better with the right buyer. So, maybe the question is, “Is a Mera any more valuable than a GT?” Jalopnik responders would say “hell naw”. But to a Fiero enthusiast, this price seems quite reasonable.

I voted NP...like smalley says, I wouldn’t want one personally, but go take a look around other replicars / kit cars like this and you’ll soon see how cheap this is compared to the rest of the market, and it’s not something that was cobbled together in somebody’s backyard.

*IF* this was a cobbled together kit then sure, CP all day. However it’s not. It has actual provenance being a dealer option that was well crafted. Best of all it’s an ‘88 with the acclaimed Lotus suspension revisions.
The person looking to buy a Mera isn’t cross-shopping against anything else. So considering the

They weren’t approved by GM. A separate company called Corporate Concepts did the work and sold them through Pontiac dealers.
