Just based on the “never messed with” and engine swap, bov, straight pipe etc combined with the “10” interior with seats taped together and pillar gauges, CP. This thing has so many surprises that are disclosed, certain doom awaits the owner with undisclosed BS.

If he spent more than $10k on this, I would say the money would have been better invested in hookers and blow. But since he only has $1,500 invested, I would say that’s money and father/daughter time well spent.

Yeah....no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve ordered it in an Irish bar from Irish people in New England w/o a batted eye. Same with Irish car bombs.

Well if it helps, no one in my generation thinks of anything else other than a fun drink to get at an Irish bar. The origin of the name may be horrible, but ask anyone under 30 what they think of when you mention Irish Car Bomb and they’ll probably start telling a funny story from a crazy night of drinking.

I dont know if you are serious....who the fuck get offended by a drink order?!?!

2nd Generation Irish here. Live in New England. Never had a problem ordering a black and tan at a bar owned and run by a gentleman of Irish descent as well. I get the historical context of why it could be deemed offensive, but even as a descendant and Irish family that fled the island in the early 1920's for the US, I

I wonder if Car dealers have their own CP or NP where they judge the exact opposite-

“Alright, so I listed this thing at 6,356 - Forced the buyer into a $3,500 extended warranty, a 12.6% APR, wheel and tire insurance, underbody protectant, paint and interior protectants, and key insurance. Ended up getting $13,740 for

Read? Reading is for peasants... I have my man-servant tell me about it, and he didn’t read it either.... I wouldn’t have a peasant for my man-servant.

Serious response: I suspect the extended warranty issue is the START of the financial shenanigans if you were to try and buy this car. Probably charge a test-drive fee.

I agree. I know VW’s well as an owner and a former case manager for VW / Audi. Here CC” stands for C”urrently “C”rack Pipe eligible..... It may be acting nice right now, but visits to the dealer are definitely on the horizon.

I mean, seriously? You’re gonna post that and give NO additional information?

People these days.

I agree. You don’t hear about a car getting totaled by gunshots everyday.

WOW... I nice priced it but I did not see that BS disclaimer. That should be illegal... absolutely ridiculous.

No no no no no no no no no....

no.

The weird price
The suspiciously reasonable price
That fact that its a dealer offering a weird suspiciously reasonable price
......

Something about this stinks to high heaven.

If anyone is REMOTELY considering this thing, have it inspected, thrice.... pull the service records, pull them

My neighbor, who’s german, and the guy that’s out in shorts in 40degree weather washing, polishing and waxing his car after doing every single tiny piece of recommended maintenance before the actual mileage occurs - had one of these.

Like you said, at 106K I’d be more concerned that the motor is about to permanently shit itself even if you went through the trouble of getting all the carbon build-up cleaned out. The EA888 is a powerful and reasonably robust VW motor but the earlier ones were even more prone to carbon build-up and even though it’s

“…my car got shot while parked and totaled (long story)…”

I’m wondering if the price also includes the water pump, timing chain guides and tensioner, and balance shaft replacement?

I like this mistake more than the one I see constantly where it's an automatic listed as a manual..

Used VWs: All of the pain of German ownership costs with none of the benefits of German ownership joy.

Does the price include removing the certain carbon buildup on the intake valves?*
