Perhaps the most dangerous byproduct of the Trump regime is the shift in thinking among so many people when it comes to the news. Sure, there are biases and always have been. But now there’s a particular kind of news consumer who when he or she hears something they don’t like, they deem it “fake” or “fear mongering”

It saddened everyone. It was a 2015, I think, and only had 30k miles on it. The remaining ones are early 2000s with all sorts of glitches. Such is life on a volley squad. I loved driving it — felt like a sports car compared to the old ones.

I ride for my town’s local EMS squad and we had three functioning ambulances a few months ago. Our newest one was crashed in January so now we have two and they’re both old. I’m sure people will think $14k is a lot for a vehicle with 284k miles but that diesel has life left and a new rig is 10-15X that cost. NP.

That was the explicit point of Seinfeld and everybody loved it. (I’m sure this is where you contradict me.)

I bet she has a garage full of Arbonne and Advocare products.

Yes, and I’ve also done it where I finance through them and make them happy and then literally go home and refinance through my preferred institution. As long as there are no prepayment penalties, which there never should be, you’re good.

Not sure why it took me so long to see this but anyway... in both cases of my above story, I was surely talking to or emailing with the phony-titled “internet sales rep” or whatever. But at the local dealer, they were utterly unprepared and the experience sucked. At the one further away, as I said, the car we wanted

Any dealer will pretty quickly just say no when you “ask for another $1000" off.

I think it’s because “Celestiq” has a similar sound within it to “Escalade.” This will subtly connect the flagships. Once they go full electric, we can look forward to Escalaq.

I.....think that’s a joke.

For this reason, I set up my financing separately and arrive at the dealer with payment instructions for the dealer to use to my financial provider. Sometimes it’s fun to see their faces when they learn they aren’t getting the financing, too.

The cynic might think this was a good way to get some attention he wouldn’t otherwise have ever gotten.

She tweeted a link to another story about that whole escapade. The accusation, the smearing of the accuser, the near trial, etc. She didn’t say he did anything.

While my instinct is to agree with the masses here that it’s completely fake, I have known a number of smaller, bro-tastic companies where this actually could be the mentality of some of the bros in charge. You’re all thinking about larger corporate america, not smaller “start-ups.”

Conversely, I’ve made appointments and then had to wait for someone to help me. And then when I get someone, often they have no idea who I am or why I’m there. During the search for my wife’s most recent car, I did this and when I had to wait past my appt time AND the kid who they connected me to had no idea about the

I honestly cannot remember the last car I had where I used a key in a keyhole. First world problem, I realize.

I had a 1996 200SX that I liked and a 2003 Altima SE that I loved. When I moved onto trucks 7 or 8 years ago, I really wanted to like the Frontier. I think the exterior styling is still handsome and as you said, the size is right. But it’s whenever I got inside one that I was always reminded why I couldn’t do it.

This review is basically what I always thought when I saw ads for the original Cats, playing endlessly at the Wintergarden Theater. It sounded and looked utterly ridiculous and braindead, so I always assumed you needed to be tripping to enjoy it. Sounds like that was carried through to the movie.

The use of the incorrect “your” in the ad is also a red flag for me.

I was in HS from 1990-94 so every C4 I see gets my heart thumping. NP.
