I don’t get why cops will go to such lengths to make their cars not look like cop cars, then bitch and point guns at people when they don’t stop for them. In my area there have been numerous cases of people pulling others over in fake cop cars and robbing them, yet I still see unmarked cop cars pulling people over.

I’m not here to comment on how the guy was riding or what the cop did but I’ll say this, on a sportbike (with the near useless mirrors) on a fun run like that it would be very easy to unknowingly “run” from a cop, especially an unmarked Camaro with the less intense cop lights. Even if I saw the Camaro behind me I’d

I have respect for law enforcement, but what happened here does not paint cops in a good light.

That’s what I should be doing instead of reading Jalopnik. There’s no escape.

All this does is remind me of architecture school and 3-day all nighters.. that green and white cutting mat + tiny laser-cut pieces.. ughh

Holy cramp is right! I know who could really use this.

Dude, get your facts straight. He eats Whoppers and soda cookies.

Ummm, no. Declining TV ratings for going on a decade now, for one thing. Almost all their biggest stars are in their 40's and won’t be racing much longer (Johnson, Earnhardt, Harvick, Kenseth, Edwards, Bowyer, Gordon (already retired), etc.). Declining attendance. And that’s a start.

Was that photo taken during its ‘Ring testing? Will they be able to break the 7 minute barrier?

There is no defending DC. This is absurd.

I’m gonna defend DC here for a second. Sort of.

I AGREE that government should not interfere with religion (short of a religion based on blatantly harming others). I AGREE that he should be allowed to wear a strainer on his head to prove his silly point (short of using it to mask his features). I’m sure he told them he couldn’t take it off for the picture due to

I’m up here in Quebec all like:

Actually, it was made to mock the people while demonstrating their hypocrisy. There are plenty of ways to show their hypocrisy, but the purposefully ridiculous argument of a spaghetti monster is definitely a move to mock the Creationist. The entire movement oozes with sarcasm, not that it doesn’t have reason to.

Because these people don’t ACTUALLY believe in an imaginary flying spaghetti monster, but some people do believe in a (perceived by you to be) imaginary god.

He doesn't believe. It's satire.

The difference is whether or not the adherent actually believes it themselves. FSM was created entirely for the purpose of mocking other religions, which means the likelihood of an actual believer is about on par with an actual believer in the slender man.The issue with that, however, lies in how tooo legally define a

This is the correct way to enforce this law. A long, drawn-out court case by the ACLU is not. If you’re going to get a government document with a strainer on your head to prove a point then you had best stick to your guns.

How would Truck rule changes affect your Sunday?

I’m an unabashed NASCAR fan. Don’t care what people say that says about me. This is the type of shit that starts pushing people away. The caution clock is undoubtedly one of the WORST things they’ve ever introduced (cue the “how about them forming NASCAR in the first place yuh-huck yuh-huck” crowd). The chase has yet
