It seems like the Austrian authorities are heading down a slippery slope.
I can think of a few actual cars I could own for $2k.
I posted on another F1 thread in Oppo, but in short: if you want to hear V10s or V12s, go find the old races and download them. I don’t think you’ll ever hear those engines again in a race, unless there’s some sort of turbo/hybrid system involved, which leads back to the problem of reduced noise anyway.
I don’t think the V6's are that bad. No they’re not a screaming V10, but some of the noises they make are pretty wild. The Honda engine, as bad as it was, made some pretty neat burps and sputters before it exploded half way through the race.
It’s sad, but silly. The owner made so many mistakes here.
I was with you until “it’s certainly attainable for the average middle class person if they’re willing to make some sacrifices.” Sacrifices like living in the car?
Ok, I’ll play.........where do we draw the line in this game of “Fuck this and fuck that”? George Washington owned slaves.......should we just topple the Washington Monument? Some US GI’s committed horrible atrocities against civilians in Vietnam.....does the Vietnam Wall belong on public land?
Owners of contracting companies can probably afford nice cars.
“Look, the Confederacy lost. It’s not going to “rise again”
You probably won’t agree with me, but let’s face it, this is terrorism through intimidation.
If I were him, I’d be motivated to re-instate the contract and tear those fucking monuments down with prejudice.
Somehow, though, if you think about it, they nailed the entire Axis Powers in one fell swoop. Italians, Germans, and the Japanese stereo. So wrong war, but, uh, win?
If Seth is telling the truth that he was thrown at least 20 feet then we can rule out Peyton Manning as a suspect.
*mandatory annual driver’s tests at all ages
I’d also like to know what Gramps was doing in that empty parking lot.
His car is being used as a business. Businesses don’t have to post notices there are security cameras.
Steve Lehto is correct that legally the Uber driver shouldn’t have posted the video online, but step one in not having a video of you beating up an Uber driver posted online is to not beat up any Uber drivers.
