Just use a brush to get into the nooks and crannies instead of putting cling wrap in a space where it could get pulled in and blended into the food.

Blenders and food processors are dead easy to clean.

Then you can just recycle the plastic wrap. Oh wait.... Get out your sponge or throw it in the dishwasher. Be a lifehacker not lazyhacker.

Throwing it into the dishwasher seems pretty simple to me.
