So apparently I can't tell Elizabeth Berkley and Mercedes McNab apart…

The chemistry in this episode was like one of those oil & water flip-drip toys - nothing ever quite blended, but I sure enjoyed watching it for about half an hour before I proceeded to gradually forget what had happened.

I'm pretty sure Tran introduced Nick to his granddaughter offscreen… he's definitely not dead. Think of the fan revolt!

I honestly don't know. He hasn't yet raised his benevolently blue-capped head this season, perhaps that's why…

Yes this. I miss the occasional glimpses we used to get that Nick has some intellectual rigor and emotional depth that he can deal with in a mature way, as well as the evidence that he does indeed possess the ability to "adult" (see: his dad's funeral). Those moments have all but disappeared and we're left with sad

Tran? Tran.

… I 100% forgot who Russell was. Had to look him up. And he had an entire story arc, too.

Something about the lines of his face… like when his eyes are closed and his head's tilted like that, it's suddenly jawline city.

I'll chalk it up to the heat - booze hits you a lot harder than you're expecting when your body's simultaneously trying desperately to cool off.

I hope he eventually found Stephanie.

The tables have really turned. I feel like the past couple years I've been looking forward to new B99 episodes more than to New Girl episodes, and NG just became something I watched out of habit. Glad I stuck around, because now I'm getting waaaay more excited about it than I am about B99.

Or, as Schmidt would say, "Rubbie"

Apparently it is, there's like 6 different rankings here

Yes. Exactly. Thus, hilarity ensues and his pathos endears him to the audience

Oh, THAT'S what that was. I was like… did you sit in glue?

No way Winston bottoms out that list. Winston, Jess, Schmidt, Nick (used to be #2 but the past two seasons have not treated his character well), Cece

My first thought as well. Instinctual reaction to a potential breach in her boundaries.

Nope.

Don't think so - having been on that particular vessel, the shots of whatever this one was were way nicer.

It was never going to be a perfect comparison - while Schmidt could easily be a Niles, Cece is hardly a Daphne. And no way Martin had a "sexual encounter" with any of the people he lived with.
