What I don’t understand is why retailers in FL bother rolling out a huge winter inventory. It gets cold down here, but not nearly as often or as much as other places. I still need tank tops in the winter here. Not wool coats and boots.

I live in northern florida, and it gets chilly here for about a month and a half (and by chilly I mean it the coldest it MIGHT get is upper 40s during the day), and I am continually BAFFLED every fall when I walk into the mall and there are heavy winter clothes, wool sweaters, down parkas etc. in all the stores.
