I thought the point was that anonymity wasn’t granted for reporting on any “doings,” just catty Beltway gossip. If there was any value to learning that a random staffer didn’t like AOC, then there’d be an argument for granting anonymity to the source. 

Forget GOP (especially White House) they don’t even hold this same standard when attacking Dems they don’t support. 

Do you hold this same position for anonymous sources who provide details on GOP doings?

Change.org soon after the episode aired and has since garnered over 16,000 signatures. The idea that HBO would be willing to reinvest the unimaginable amount of time and money it took to make the most expensive season of television ever produced simply because fans didn’t like it is inherently ridiculous.
