@reuthermonkey: I've had no trouble getting these for free from Verizon for my clients. I can't even get them from Sprint - they say they don't even know if they'll get any more in.

I just jumped around on the video -did they show the used panty dispenser and the beer dispensing vending machines they have over there? What about the nylons dispensing machines?

@Derbeste: I'm guessing you don't live in a city like Los Angeles. If you are speeding or parking some place where they can give you a ticket and profit from your "crime" they will be there within minutes. If you call about a robbery or a violent crime they may or may not show up. I've called about 2 thefts -

@Derbeste: I think the guy got what he deserved! Sure he should have called the police on the guy but they might be as useless as the Los Angeles police in which case his actions were completely understandable.

@snacktastic: I never liked the show but that is BRILLIANT!

@Theologica: Actually the autodialers aren't quite so bad - if someone hasn't said hello within 2 seconds I know I can hang up because it is an f'n telemarketing/unwanted call.

I can't believe we still are dealing with telemarketers - I can't tell you how often I get calls about cleaning my carpets at home and sales calls on my cell phone which is my business line. The do not call list hasn't slowed them down - I think it is time to KILL them - it might discourage them.

@ddhboy: I have a 65" TV about 10' from my couch. I was just watching Iron Man2 and was upset I couldn't get an affordable 85" 4K resolution TV to replace it. 65" is too small for good action/sci-fi movies. I think about 3.5 feet is the ideal viewing distance for a little 50" TV.

They have pretty good hardware. I just don't understand why they won't consider just offering a phone with whatever OS they decide is their current flavor and something that other people want like Android or WP7.

If only Sony sold monitors that size (not tv's that can be used as monitors but truly high resolution monitors)

At least it is easier to fit in your pocket than the new HTC WP7 Pro phone Sprint plans on getting.

@ohnoitsaspider: Yes, but the Verizon plan would be cheaper for me than Sprints even though I've been with SPrint for a decade now. Sprint is just taking a dump on people with the legacy plans - no loyalty discount. I currently have 3 browsers on my phone full data, plenty of minutes, unlimited text. To get that

I'm hoping Verizon carries a CDMA cousin of this phone soon! (or better yet a world phone with both CDMA and a GSM sim socket!)

I'm on Sprint now but will gladly switch to Verizon when they have an iphone or a good WP7 phone.

I'd rather see websites be inspected each day for viruses and they not be allowed on to be production websites if they install scamware/spyware/viruses etc.

@PSUSkier: I'm a HT guy so I have an absurd amount of audio equipment (too much of my income) and I would have an absurdly expensive TV as well if I could get something that surpasses my old 65" RPTV from Mits. I would love a HUGE flat panel TV. I don't own a house so a projector is impractical.

I'm not sure why TV makers are focusing on 3d when the video quality isn't there yet. The KURO is still the TV to beat even though they haven't made it in years! And frankly TVs are still small. I bought my 65" HDTV a decade ago. It uses CRT technology that still looks better than most plasmas for deeper

Too bad there is such a VAST amount of screen realestate dedicated to the right arrow. Maybe they should have made that a hardware button instead. Not sure why a right swipe wasn't an option.

If it sounds incredible it might be worth it to some wealthy person. As for the looks - seems like that "modern art" crap they pooped out in the 60's that I never appreciated. Maybe I could put it next to my advacado green fridge or my marigold yellow stove that were also the rage back then.
