WalMart (at least up here in NWI) has state of the art security cameras in their lots.  Something is not right if they don’t have footage.  I’m pretty sure their security policy of cameras is corporate-wide.

Not perfect but it looks like an early 2000s S10 to me. it would help if they put another vehicle in that same spot from the same camera so we can get a better idea of angle. For example should we be able to see both headlights or is it a straight profile shot, how much of the roofline should we be able to see etc.

I generally like people

I’m blocking deadspin from my Google feed after this story.

62 miles was in 3 minutes.

Nickelback is the only true answer.

Let’s be honest, the NFL excuse makes it easy to say no and not have to play with Maroon 5.

Yes because medical costs here are so high - high insurance premiums, high deductibles, and high post-insurance adjusted expenses. Even with a good salary, great insurance, and lots of savings, I am TERRIFIED of getting a serious illness or injury. And for those with shitty insurance? I cannot even begin to comprehend

Same. I thought they had gone rogue in hospital billing.

I was one of the people whose debt was forgiven with the help of this organization! I got a letter in the mail about two weeks ago, and thought it was total bullshit at first. Very grateful for this. I’m in North Carolina, though, and the debt was incurred in Phoenix, so I don’t think this organization works

If they actually purchased $1.5 million in face value debt for $12,500, this must have been the worst sort of garbage zombie debt that the original creditors had long since given up on collecting and was being traded for pennies on the dollar by scam artists.

Goddammit another misleading headline: totally thought this was going to be a Mr. Robot style hijack and am disappointed it’s just workaday folks doing good things for strangers. Borrrring!

rip tumblr

I only ever used Tumblr for adult content so I guess I’m never going back.

Whiting said, as quoted by Autosport, that Hulkenberg actually had more room inside of the car after the crash with the halo over it...

Wait, an Audi made a quick u-turn without understeering into the opposite curb?

Not a lawyer. I think the term is “gross negligence”. The contract doesn’t protect the shop because their action of the employee (illegal u-turn) is clearly “grossly negligent”.

I’m guessing they didn’t expect the customer to call the local news station? They’re idiots.

Seriously. Why is everyone horrible now? Who the fuck thinks this is funny, or a joke, or in any way a good idea?

“...the road is technically still open to local traffic.”
