Lane changes do not require confirmation...it’s a setting you can change. Mine is set to vibrate the wheel to alert me when it’s changing lanes. Does not require any input unless I want to cancel the lane change.

Model 3 owner here as well. Agree that AP isn’t perfect, but mine works well about 95% of the time. Lines do not have to be perfect but at least 1 side of the lines needs to be visible it seems. Traditional manufacturers are already beating Tesla at his own game. There are already sub$30k EVs when Tesla has yet to deliver his revolutionary $35k unicorn Model 3. And there are EVs that are matching the base Model 3 range and will soon take that Tesla advantage off the table.
