a real base TJ is 3200lbs but that is a very stripped down one, our 2005 TJ Sport is 3800, for an older offroad jeep then you’d be better off with a cherokee, unibody makes it quite a bit lighter and still has all the offroad fun

The f350 and ram 3500 are rated at around 30,000lbs not 18,000, my 2017 ram 2500 is rated at around 18,000lbs so that weight rating is low for a heavy duty truck, hell the f150 and ram 1500 are around 13,000lbs
