If this wasn’t the reason that NASCAR sucks I don’t know what. These teams have too large budgets to repair every accident. Should we treat every season like Monster treats every race? Set budget for the year... once it’s spent you’re out. Would that bring some clean racing?

It’s great to watch in person! There’s plenty of spots to view from and with the elevation changes you can view a fair amount of track. I suggest posting up in the 90 which gets you the race to turn one, then down the hill and up the esses then losing the cars going down the back straight. Or the turn nine or ten…

I live 1:45 away from Watkins Glen. I’ve been there for NASCAR, Indy, and IMSA. IMSA is by far my favorite. Plus everything is more accessible and less crowded.
