The whole episode felt awkward in context of what's going on in the country right now. We knew the election was going to touch off some raw emotions regardless of who won, and I think the Crewniverse figured that when this was put in the can potentially sometime this summer.

Also I don't put it past Greg to think Rose is the first name and Quartz is the last name.

Wait when?

Still the kind of episode where the title suggests one thing but you get another. It's fine, but it could have been done better.

Fan theory confirmed: Greg and Steven are related to the people in the picture pinned to the wall of the barn (Andy is in there).

That's a good case for them being friends again, and I can see that after Music Hole when she went to the festival held in Finn's honor, but probably not a relationship again.

It didn't have that much hope for me, and it failed to deliver even that.

Once I saw the Time Warp, it started to lose me. The original had so much flourish and eccentricity and this one felt like when you're a Virgin trying to do it for the first time and being awkward in the process. Very little energy.

Onion is still a weird little kid, but it's nice to have this other level of him to see. His friends being equally weird helps.

Hopefully we get a new batch of episodes before Christmas, but I could live with a January release because there isn't much to linger over save for more lore and the date episode we HOPE comes soon.

Your Diamond.
My Diamond.

Only down line of the episode I thought. Did we need him to say that?

Ain't nothing wrong with that

If you listen closely, you can hear the fandom frantically scrawling in their sketch pads to be the first on DeviantArt.

I'd totally date that pink haired chick if she existed in real life.

Steven and Connie are the textbook male/female platonic relationship right now (I used to have them as romantic, but I'm backing down as the show has backed down as well).

They had a routine though.

It was definitely friendly, but I didn't see it as romantic. They were a duo and friends that hadn't seen eachother in a while, hence the long embrace. Yes, there was the gay ship in Gravity Falls at the end, but that had more fodder than this did.

I'm a loyal viewer, but the constant shipping gets on my nerves. Can't there be ONE actual just-platonic relationship between two characters?

I saw it as a working relationship and a friendship, but that was about it
