What many of these guidelines and laws fail to do is state explicitly that vehicles are not obligated to make enough room for you to pass between them. It is frustrating to see motorcyclists rev their engines or honk their horns in an attempt to get cars to shift in their lane to let them by. In some cases, I've seen

And d) motorcyclists are far more likely to be injured if even the least bit of contact occurs with a vehicle, and e) the combination of velocity differential and distance between objects are the main factors for whether there is an accident; thus, putting yourself close to another vehicle and traveling at a different

Yes, but this "groomer" offered them a neutered, mixed race mutt to replace the murdered ID-chipped, show-winner with documented pedigree.

Tell me that when it is you that it happens to, and not some stranger you've never met. I don't give a shit about what is required by law, they fucked up majorly and then slapped a paying customer in the face while denying culpability for something that they were squarely to blame for. Again, fuck them.

A two owner, abused, crashed car is not proper compensation for a pristine condition one. Sorry.

I disagree. A car is something you fall in love with, especially when you own something that is your personal dream car. You entrust something you love with a place that should be trustworthy. That place kills the thing you love. You wouldn't be angry if you took a pet to the groomers and then found out they tossed it

They didn't offer to give them a car, they offered to sell them a car that was involved in an accident.

I don't understand one thing - the guy's insurance, once totaling the vehicle, should assign a value of replacement based on the car's condition and age. They then can go after the dealership's insurance to get that value back, and the Hoopers can then sue the dealer for loss of depreciation between that value and a

Agreed... Dealership should give them a brand new ZL1. What a ridiculous situation. You don't get to total a dream car then offer crap as a replacement.

I'd rather have the Corvette. It seems the only advantage the Viper has is in the HP department, at least for now.

I think these are very valid comparisons. They illustrate what exactly is spending another $30k getting you (or maybe more appropriately for most of us, what not being able to afford the extra $30k denies us).
