Comments show a huge amount of pure Trump derangement over what should be simply a football game.  It seems the Trump haters have to politicize everything.

I don’t know anybody who claims that blacks having slaves or trading in slaves justifies slavery. But it does mean that blacks cannot claim some superior morality on the issue. Neither blacks nor whites are morally superior. Either group will do nasty things given certain customs and incentives.

Nonsense. No need to “embrace” it. No need to run from it or avoid it. You are who you are. It’s the content of your character that matters.

That a lot of rapes are not reported, and the perp gets away Scott-free does not justify the assumption that all claims of rape are true. That risks punishing innocent men in order to “get even” for what guilty men got away with.

Public universities don’t have the latitude to act in an arbitrary way that private employers do. There are multiple court cases where accused rapists were victims of kangaroo court proceedings and sued. So far, universities have settled.
