Apps that alter files tend to need those turned off. Ever run a trainer for a game to cheat your way through a single player game? Sometimes virus scanners or firewalls see that as an invader and want to remove the file (which means they are doing their job).

The very first instruction on that video is ‘turn off firewalls and antivirus software’ -- sort of a giant red flag there. Especially given that you’re running software from Russia.
