That made me sad that someone thinks John Cena would make a good anything besides John Cena. He’s great but not for Shazam.

I had to look up who Cena is, and no, just no. He doesn’t look the part at all. And what I have seen him in, I can’t see the kid-like enthusiasm this part needs.

On ABC I agree*

I miss Agent Carter so much. Still the best thing Marvel TV has done.

I also imagine after reading this there are multiple holes punched in the wall of Hayley Atwell’s office. I bet the greenlight for this show killed any chance of hers being picked up again.

Right? For the last few years I’ve been convinced that the io9 commentariat existed mostly to hate the shit out of BvS LONG after it left theatres.

I recently rewatched DS9 after not seeing since its original airing. I damn near forgot Worf even joined the crew. It was awesome being able to live that moment twice!

MY MAN

It was a hostile work environment...

Okay I need to go back and watch The Flash. It has Ralph Dibny AND Danny Trejo? Oh I am so there. (An aside - I love the fact that Robert Rodriguez has decided Trejo’s character from Spy Kids and Machete are the same character.)

Well of course, you can’t have Sam without Al. And maybe we can get some hot Gideon on Ziggy action!

I can’t be the only person who reads this as a sneeze noise.

Ahch-To

I just realized Legends of Tomorrow is more or less this century’s Quantum Leap.

The comics intimate that breaking the windows was a) to preemptively stop snipers who could hit Rick and co. from a higher vantage point and b) to increase the noise drawing the walkers. The books did not have the elaborate series of explosions guiding the horde, and also had a full-on bullet factory in action via

No kiddin’.

Remember back in Season 2 when they were concerned about bullets? Then they drove around a burning farm house shooting everything that moves.

Property values are going to plummet in the short term, but just wait a few years and gentrification should bump it up again.
