Sofrep’s got a good article up about all the details of the raid. Multiple AQAP commanders killed, at least 16 fighters dead. Not to mention most of the children killed were being used as human shields. AQAP may have “propaganda”, but that doesn’t help them now that they’ve lost their force capability.

How was the raid a failure? Yeah a SEAL lost his life and a few civilians died, however at least three major AQAP commanders were killed. Reports are coming out that AQAPs communication network is reeling and it appears that the raid dealt a heavy blow to their operations in the next 6-18 months.
