Nothing in this trailer makes me think Elemental will be inspired. It seems to be a hodgepodge of many other Pixar and Disney movies (Inside Out, Cars, Zootopia, Soul). Also, The Good Dinosaur was the bottom of the barrel for Pixar movies IMO so that’s not great.

I really don’t understand the world they’re presenting here. Like, why is some air sentient and other air not? Why would water eat food? And I have no confidence this will be explained satisfactorily.

It’s not even a flop by Marvel standards. It has a higher than expected opening, and is making a boatload more than the first two. The user score on Rotten Tomatoes is 84% which is about middle of the road for Marvel movies.

Stunning when there is a show where Dan Harmon is not the asshole. Is that why Harmon intentionally works with Chevy Chase  & this guy, so he doesn’t look so bad by comparison?
