I know one white lady finally went to jail recently, but she killed a dude in his own apartment and she wasn’t absurdly wealthy.  Nothing will happen to Betsy.  I just hope the defrauded students get their money back.

And how many wear badges.

I’m also in favor of not adopting the GOP “no negotiation at all” policy.  The Dems want to make a point that they are NOT acting in bad faith.

Both points matter.  She shouldn’t have done it in her capacity as a neutral arbiter.  If she does do it, she should do it consistently in order to maintain as much neutrality as possible.  I’m sure everyone knows she doesn’t hug every convicted murderer, so she was wrong both ways.

He’ll certainly be remembered when MAGA hats fly proudly next to Confederate flags for the next two hundred years.

TBH I never liked cops, even before they tackled me and knelt on my head to handcuff me because in a fit of deep depression I’d considered taking enough pain meds to kill myself. I think my feelings about who goes into policing were best summed up in an episode of The Sarah Silverman show, when Sarah is pulled over

I’m sad that this is a terrible picture of Ivanka and I STILL think she looks hot in it.

I’ll never understand hanging on to faith in god after something like this.  My life has never involved anything 1/100th as awful as this and I gave up my faith long ago because it just didn’t make sense in a cruel world.  It’s stunning to imagine continuing to believe in the face of the cruel world taking away

I love that this denial is totally “you don’t talk about drug (election interference) stuff on a cell phone (text message).”

Mitt’s brow never furrows. Have you seen his forehead? It’s a pristine alabaster wall.

The presentation of Jean’s act of forgiveness and the ensuing reaction was immediately reminiscent of when the survivors of the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, S.C., publicly forgave Dylann Roof.

Let Professor Milhouse explain.

I like that she needed to approximate when dealing with the number “three.”

This is her real superpower: cutting through all the BS and getting the heart of our actual problems.  Maybe her policies aren’t yet fully fleshed out, but at least she’s focusing us on the right things.

You’re leaving out that right before Trump asks for this favor the Ukrainian prez says they’re ready for more missiles.

I can’t believe you bothered to click on this article, click on Reply, type this “joke” out, and click Publish.

After college I bought a yellow Toyota Celica and got the license plate NEWJACK.  As a white suburban kid I now think this was probably inappropriate.

Always appropriate until it isn’t. Please god say it isn’t this time.
