As a white man I bought a Caucasians shirt (the one that looks like the Cleveland racist mascot) thinking it was hilarious and would be ironic. It was not. Even paired with my Black Lives Matter hat it caused only confusion.  It’s out of my rotation.

There is no way this is the first time 7th grade black students experienced racism firsthand in Boston. Boston is so racist they’ve invented racism for other kinds of white people.

Take all of this hate and inject it directly into my veins.  This article was so wonderful to read.

I totally *do* doubt she’s an asshole.  The assholes are the ones criticizing people for standing up at a time of rampant, government-backed racism.

I don’t understand how airlines haven’t come up with better solutions for boarding and disembarking. There have been studies which have come up with faster, more efficient solutions but the airlines all seem to say “Nah, pure chaos and barely bridled rage is the way to go, man.”

Despite the support of at least one Republican I’m not holding my breath on this one for two reasons: it was something Obama was in favor of, and it doesn’t suit the current administration’s burning need to hurt brown skinned people.

Maybe he’s not so racist, since he pardoned a Black.

It’s great someone filmed it from a schadenfreude perspective.  Unfortunately I have no doubt the local PD is asking people to identify the woman so they can arrest her.

I thought my last line would make it clear my post was at least partially tongue-in-cheek. I do think some GOP voters will see Mission Accomplished and maybe be open to not continuing to vote for monsters.  But since racism is the factor most correlated with voting GOP the effect will likely be minimal.

The only silver lining I see in overturning Roe v. Wade is that it will nullify one of the biggest wedge issues that lets the religious right vote for awful people by saying they’re voting for the platform.  Now they’ll have to find another rationale, like hurting brown people.

Let’s be fair here. There’s no way to know if they would have dragged in every white person in the area with any criminal record and done the same thing if the suspect was known to be white.
