I thought my last line would make it clear my post was at least partially tongue-in-cheek. I do think some GOP voters will see Mission Accomplished and maybe be open to not continuing to vote for monsters.  But since racism is the factor most correlated with voting GOP the effect will likely be minimal.

The only silver lining I see in overturning Roe v. Wade is that it will nullify one of the biggest wedge issues that lets the religious right vote for awful people by saying they’re voting for the platform.  Now they’ll have to find another rationale, like hurting brown people.

I think more likely Trump vastly inflated his losses to avoid taxes, which he’s pretty much admitted to doing.  Don’t get me wrong, he probably still lost a ton of money.
