I’ve replied to every Steve King article I’ve seen so far to add: the GOP assigned Steve King as the chairman of the civil rights subcommittee. As if that’s not enough to demonstrate how low a priority it is for them, they also assigned noted moron Louie Gohmert to this subcommittee.

Judging by the few sessions I’ve ever watched: emphatically yes.

I want to keep pointing out that the GOP assigned Steve King the chairmanship of the civil rights subcommittee. If that’s not enough to tell you how low of a priority that is for them they also assigned the dumbest senator, Louie Gohmert to the same subcommittee.

It’s always good to hear from Coalf*cker Joe.  He should team up with fellow Democrat Sheriff David Clarke and start a news organization of his own so we can hear their “democratic” takes all day, every day.

Important note: Steve King was on the subcommittee for civil rights. And if we needed any further confirmation that this is the GOP’s lowest priority, one of his co-committee members is rock stupid Louie Gohmert.

In fact Mitch and Co. now get a nice paid vacation like the furloughed federal employees! Sure, if the government was open they could screw over poor people some more. But this gives them time to stay home and enjoy their enormous wealth and blame it all on Trump.

Not to nitpick, but a bill has already passed to give govies back pay after it ends.  On the other hand, cafeteria workers, cleaning staff, etc... who are generally contractors will not get sh*t.
