Carter is a douche.

If its the music they want, they may well switch to get that music. If they love iTunes so much then importing it into iTunes is a simple matter. Also, if they opened their own music store and charged $1 they would still be making more per song then using iTunes because they keep all their money.

Loosing sales simply depends on whether or not they moved to another platform.

That is completely irrelevant, iTunes as a music manager does not mean anything, its iTunes as a music retailer that is the point. If Sony removes their music from iTunes, sure you can go get it from anywhere and import it into iTunes library, but you still went and spent that money somewhere else.

You assume they still wont be out of a job? This hasn't happened yet, there is no promise of success, and there is no promise if it is a success that those "Symbian" employees would still have a job.

Don't be so dumb. I never said they couldn't do what they wanted to do. I said I am tired of Apple and their walled garden. I prefer openness and choices, and capitalism and money.

@DavidWizard: Never the less, it is another piss-ass thing for Apple to do and another reason why I personally have grown sick of it. I do have an iPad and I seriously thought I'd get an iPad 2, but the simple solution here is, "No". No more of this crap from Apple. I am done with them, i'll get an Android tablet this

That seals the deal for me. I enjoyed the iPad while it was capable of getting books from every different party, but I am sick of Apple. I'll go with an Android tablet instead of iPad 2 or whatever.

@OrbitalGun: 28 days after its been at blockbuster, not quite immediately.

@bmaz: I don't expect a liberal bias, or any bias, but people are people and they are biased. If the phone is crap, and the company is abandoning the platform. Why do you care? Deal with it, review it yourself.

@bmaz: How is not doing a review censorship? Censorship would be if a review was done, but taken down or not posted because of the reasons above. Here, the case is that no review happened.

Something many people don't realize (and lets say that McAfee is not as quick as some of the better software, it could be improved, but its also not as bloated as Norton)

@Benjamin Patron: This is untrue, many websites use Java, Flash, and other things to show advertisements and they can inject programs into computers, and while we keep our computers relatively up to date, new exploits come out later that re-open the problem.

@AbeVigodasSon: Like it or not, when big money is involved, so to is big brother, and thats just tough. If you are at work, your being paid to be there, using their equipment, network, and everything else. It is not about respect either, its just a simple fact, most people with a computer at work will find a way to

Lets talk about the below "dangerous" thing (see below)

@DrFunke: No, so much of it is shit because the government keeps spending money we don't have.
