There is nothing so permanent as a temporary government program.

Don’t you mean run afowl?

The only good thing the Chicken Tax ever did was give us the BRAT.

The UAW is one of the most corrupt unions in the western world.

Much less a Ford. Much less one that has a significant mileage penalty.

Never buy the first production year of any vehicle.

The RAV4 is the no-brainer choice. If you don’t care about the styling and only want reliability, fit, and AWD, you’re not going to go wrong with Toyota. Put gas in it, change the oil and tires when needed, and drive for 150k+ miles worry free.

I’m over here waiting for somebody to suggest a Miata.

So basically this is a P.R. thing for United, right? Nobody seriously expects anything to come from this.

Their rendering would look much better in a Pan-Am livery:

An interesting car, but here again we have an example of how the seller is obviously trying to ditch his money pit.  As evidenced by the repairs completed but the legion still waiting to be addressed.  Sad ND.

Hey, BMWs are never cheap.

A base C8 Vette will run you $60K for the sticker. Meanwhile, an A91 ‘21 Supra will cost you $55K. (I’ll assume no dealer gouging for either.)

Meh, it’s just paint. Never really understood why everyone gets their panties in a twist about paint scratches. Also actually that color will probably pretty much hide em. One of my off road buddies used to have a yellow FJC that was just as scratched up as mine but you could only see really close up at the perfect

Not digging the Mt. Dew Yellow, but those UCA’s are a great add. When you lift the Tacoma beyond 2 inches up front you are really stressing the ball angle and limiting your down travel. This should be a well tuned and good system.  I hope they do something with the traction control system though, it really limits fun

So this has now been the Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, Toyota GT 86, and now the Toyota GR 86. Good thing this literally only appeals to enthusiasts, because that would probably confuse the average joe.

The power is fine. It’s the mid-dip in the torque that’s always been the issue (and yes, I’ve driven both the FR-S and BRZ when they came out, and even walked away from the FR-S after driving it for ~30 minutes). Cars like the Miata may have less power but they have the proper torque curve to back it up, even an NA

To each their own, I wish my Mazda6 had a sunroof delete option for the GT trim. I rarely use it and would greatly appreciate the extra headroom.

Mazda isn’t going to add a bunch of weight and cost to the Miata when it’s currently just as quick as this will be anyway.
