I'd like to see more use of hammy Stan Lee-isms in the MCU, and particularly the phrases "true believers" and "nuff said."

Grey Worm isn't slavishly loyal. He is certainly loyal, but he has his own point of view, which might very well differ from Daenerys's. I don't see his support of her as any more robotic than any other character's.

Right, exactly. My point was that we don't actually know yet whether Coldhands being Benjen is a departure from the books.

"eunuch robot soldiers"? I don't think the show supports that at all.

They already consummated their relationship, no?

Randyll is an enormous asshole, but he agreed to take in his son's whore. Tywin had Tyrion's whore brutally gangraped. I'd say Tywin is worse.

And likely great grandson.

Benjen and Coldhands may not be the same character in the books, but I'm certainly not going to dismiss the possibility outright just because Martin made a marginal note to that effect at some point.

The extent to which Kevan is actually opposed to the High Septon is…unclear. That said Jaime, as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, ought to be aware of where Tommen is pretty much at all times.

At this point, Martin has mostly made everything at least seven steps too complicated.

Kevan doesn't seem to have any interest in giving Jaime more power, though. Especially since he and his family are presumably in line for Casterly Rock is Jaime is excluded.

He did write that in a note to his editor. Doesn't mean it's true.

The Game of Thrones wiki tells me that Preston Greenfield and Arys Oakheart have both made appearances this season. Osmund Kettleblack, Balon Swann, and Boros Blount have all appeared in previous seasons. I don't think their names have been mentioned in anything but passing, though.

I think Cersei has always viewed her children as extensions of herself and Jaime, and not really as people in their own right. For that matter, she views Jaime as an extension of herself, and not really as a person in his own right.

Think how much less mean he was than Tywin Lannister in a similar situation, though. Much less gang raping.

Someone I vaguely know (old high school friend of my sister's) is now part of the MIRI/Less Wrong crowd, and was tweeting at the time about how Peter Gregory scenes were exactly like interacting with Thiel.

I didn't have to know about coding to know that Richard is a moron.

I think the idea is that $500,000 makes her willing to go to jail to protect Big Head.

Peter Gregory was pretty explicitly Peter Thiel, right?

Show Dorne was awful from start to finish.
