Shells, not bullets.

*actual* boxer.

Yes

I don't see how that affects the awesomeness of his name.

Avery's story, I believe, was actually that he never left his house while Halbach was there - he saw her outside taking pictures, but never talked to her.

I'd be interested to find out more about this. The documentary gave the impression that the bullet came from the same caliber rifle as Avery's, but not that it was necessarily matched as coming from that rifle.

I don't think it's clear she "complained" exactly - or at least, not in a serious way. My understanding is that she kind of joked with a coworker about how it was gross that he'd come out in a towel, and that's pretty much it.

Yeah, no real need for the adjective.

It's also been being posted and reposted all over the internet with no sourcing by dubious trolls for weeks now.

I don't think it's like that at all. The Averys are poor and looked down upon by their neighbors. The Duck Dynasty people are rich white bread people who grew long beards and pretended to be mountain men.

I think the body was likely burned at the quarry, not in the bonfire. At any rate, I think we should be careful about accusing people of crimes when we literally have no evidence whatever that they did them, and that includes the ex-boyfriend. Judging people as murderers because you don't think their affect when

Yes, this seems like the most likely narrative to me, too. And of course Steven Avery would be fairly high on the list of possible suspects here, along with Scott Tadych and Bobby Dassey (apparently the defense were also interested in pointing possible fingers at Chuck and Earl Avery). But, at least from the

Your point 4 is utterly puzzling to me. The police took over the Avery property after Halbach was already dead. How could they have taken the gun and used it to kill her then?

You would rather live in a world where Stallone doesn't give out unsolicited, hilariously derivative ideas for Rocky sequels? You, sir, are an enemy of joy.

Tyson Fury is the greatest name that any actual boxer has ever had.

Fox hunting is the only reason the fox isn't extinct in England, it's worth noting. British aristocrats trying to make sure that there would still be foxes for them to hunt were among the earliest conservationists.

She's not unmoneyed - she's got all Matthew's money, as I understand it. And he inherited it from his dead fiancee's father?

Mary surely married into a prominent family that strengthened their finances? Matthew saved the estate!

That'd also make her 31 when she went to St. Petersburg for the Duke of Edinburgh's wedding and had the romance with Prince Kuragin, so that more or less works. I'd think Edith is only a year or two younger than Mary, no?

In 1912, Mary was 21, but had no money. Because Matthew was part owner of the estate, Mary, as his heir, now owns half the estate, and is thus a much better catch, even though 14 years older.
