He used a mockney accent in Casanova?

Yes, sometimes there will be incredibly mild spoilers on pop culture websites. Such is life.

The Statue of Liberty thing was silly, obviously, but there are so many other things going on in that episode! It's certainly not the point of the episode - it's just a one off gag.

The Paul Cornell and Steven Moffat two parters from the RTD era are all quite good.

It's got to be the Time Lords, right?

For the Doctor, all of his companions' deaths are coming. That's what being the Doctor is.

This isn't even a spoiler! If you care about spoilers to such an extent that something as mild as this upsets you, it's on you to find ways to avoid them.

It's also clear his powers aren't *just* hearing related, because they don't work over the phone.

Jim Shooter also agrees that Thomas's role was crucial, although he admits to not being privy to all the details. It gives you a good idea, though, about why Marvel people were skeptical of doing Star Wars comics.

It seems as though you, and not Sava, is the one spoiling things here. Sava's statements are perfectly fair inferences from what the show gives us.

I mean, that's just what I took from what the show gave me. I don't feel like Sava said anything that I hadn't already concluded on my own.

Why do we need to reconcile them? Why couldn't The Hobbit exist as its own thing?

I think it is best not to see it as an adaptation.

I remember in the second movie thinking that the barrel escape from the Elves was actually a nice, fun little action scene that was just right and not overdoing it. And then the fucking Orcs attacked.

Well, of course Jackson has to be the one to announce that.

I mean, it was clear that he mind controlled her and raped her, I thought, though they didn't say it outright. (And I've not read the comic)

For God's sake it's a fucking recap. Don't look at recaps for shows you haven't seen if you care about spoilers! This is not actually complicated.

Except that Detective Freamon was trying to figure out where the gun came from, so obviously it wasn't a gun she'd bought legally. At any rate, I have no problem with the idea that Kilgrave gave her the gun. I'm just not sure where her purse was supposed to be acquired from. I asume corruptintenz is probably correct.

That doesn't make sense - she already has clothes on by the time her parents show up. Plus, where would her parents have gotten her purse from? They weren't the ones who talked to the roommate.
