I was watching that Sarah Palin movie, Game Change and realized that Danny Strong wrote it. Has he actually been the most successful, post GG?

I think it would be very appropriate if Lorelai had forgotten she was married to Christopher.

I just want to commend the show for bringing out Edgar's own brand of "worst"-ness in a believable way that doesn't take away from all the things I've adored about him since day one. While he's still nowhere near as low as friends, he feels like one of the gang now, rather than the gang's punching bag.

I'm not sure. I think they could mine a lot from the performative parenting trend. There's also the fact that they'd both be miserable as parents.

I wonder if it has something to do with Vernon and Becca giving birth. The past two finales have been about the gang ruining one of their events and I'd love to see what happens when Becca's birth plan goes wrong.

I had a little moment of anxiety when Vernon seemed to actually be leaving and I thought he was being written off the show.

I'm kind of wondering if we'll find out she was never pregnant in the first place; she just thought she was.

Chris Geere narrating erotic fiction is a never ending delight. I hope they make an audible of the book and he narrates.

Stray observation- while rewatching this episode last night, I realized Lindsay has had alcohol and/or drugs every episode she's been in this season. And no one has said a damn thing about it. I honestly forget that she's pregnant until she says "family" as if it's a foreign language.

I don't know, guys. I really enjoyed how light this episode was, but I feel like it was a ploy to let our guards down. All four of these characters have some pretty heavy baggage to unload and none of it is resolved. While this episode acknowledged it all, I think still think we're in for some dark times ahead.

Thanks! The lack of positive reinforcement thing is particularly interesting given who she's in a relationship with. I guess my confusion comes from when she gave an actual name to what was going on and previous depressive episodes were mentioned. It implies that she has gone through some sort of medical diagnosis and

Ok, this is speaking as someone who doesn't have a lot of personal experience with clinical depression; but shouldn't Gretchen be doing something about it? I understand it's not something you can snap out of and medications take forever to work out, but I thought there'd be some sort of plan of attack. Don't these

As awesome as Elizabeth Henstridge was, this episode made zero sense. First, how old is Will supposed to be? The actor is 31, and you'd be stretching it to have him be older than 35. This would put him at age 21 at most when he was stranded. So, NASA hired someone who's not a scientific genius roughly between the ages
